As of 2025, the final official release is (Global) and A14 (Americas). ZTE has ceased active development for this model.
The ZTE MF920U is a flexible but carrier-restricted device. Firmware updates can either (like band selection, Ethernet routing) or remove them (carrier lockdown). Flashing generic firmware is possible but requires EDL mode and partition-level care.
Click on the button on the home dashboard or under the Device Settings tab. If an update is available, click Download .
